Filming weddings at Faenol Fawr in North Wales is always a special experience. With its historic buildings, beautiful grounds and relaxed atmosphere, it’s a venue that lends itself perfectly to capturing natural, emotional wedding films.

In the summer of 2025 we had the privilege of filming Lowri and Karl’s wedding at Faenol Fawr. From the moment the day began there was a lovely relaxed energy, the kind of wedding where laughter, family and genuine emotion naturally become the story of the film.

As a husband-and-wife videography team, our goal is always to capture the moments couples may not even realise are happening around them — the reactions during the ceremony, the laughter during speeches and the little interactions between family and friends that make the day unique.

Located in Bodelwyddan, North Wales, Faenol Fawr is one of the region’s most characterful wedding venues. Its historic architecture and surrounding countryside create a beautiful setting that works wonderfully on camera.

Having filmed several weddings at Faenol Fawr, we know how the venue flows and where the most natural moments often happen. That familiarity allows us to capture the day unobtrusively while ensuring no important moments are missed.

Every wedding we film includes multi-camera coverage of the ceremony and speeches, ensuring reactions and key moments are captured from multiple angles.

To preserve the emotion of the day, we also use discreet lapel microphones so vows and speeches are recorded clearly. These are often the moments couples say mean the most when they watch their film back in the years to come.

Throughout the day we work quietly in the background, allowing couples and their guests to relax and simply enjoy the celebration while we capture the story as it naturally unfolds.
